George Socolow - NYPA Debut Recital

12 year old child prodigy composer-pianist George Socolow will perform a lavish program of grand piano repertoire spanning four centuries - from Bach till Socolow via Mendelssohn, Chopin, Franck, Debussy and Yedidia.
Geogre has been Ronn Yedidia’s composition & piano student for the past six years. His exceptional talent was recently recognized by the New York Philharmonic Orchestra which gave the world premiere of his work, Rush Hour, last May 4, 2024 at Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall. Other compositions of his have been performed by renowned ensembles and orchestras across the US and Europe.

Chopin Ballade No. 3, Op. 47, in Ab Major

C. Franck Prelude, Choral et Fugue, FWV 21
